Our history
The first year of production was in 1972.
The wine cellar moved in 1979 to a new building, the current headquarters of the winery.
In the 90s the refrigeration system was installed to control the temperature and fermentation by inserting the enzymes to enhance the aromas of the wines.
In 2012 a new expansion and updating of the cellar leads us to the transition from concrete barrels to stainless steel ones.
Also in that year we began to experiment with a new vinification that made it possible to arrive at the charmat method.
In order to further improve the quality of the wine, a pressing called soft pressing is used, without breaking the seeds and without crushing the stems.
Gallicani family
We have been producing wines with passion for three generationsCreated for those who enjoy the finer things in life, these fine wines are lauded for their depth, intensity and ability to age gracefully. Angiolino Gallicani
As we are today
Today the vineyard produces still red wines such as Rosso Le Antighe and Cabernet Sauvignon and sparkling wines, such as Lambrusco, Rosso dell’Emilia, as well as sparkling whites such as Malvasia dell’Emilia and Aliano.
We also produce an excellent brut white sparkling wine, our sparkling lambrusco won the “Lambrusco di San Donnino 2019” award given by the Italian Sommelier Association for its excellent organoleptic characteristics.
